As a survivor of incest, rape and an executive at one of the largest independent rape crisis centers in the country, Teresa Stafford seeks to eliminate structural racism and oppressive policies that impact survivors and advocates of color within mainstream survivor advocacy programs. Voices from the Field is a collection of survivor-advocates' lived experiences while working in the field to support survivors. Voices from the Field seeks to enhance programs' ability to respond to all survivors in a trauma-informed, inclusive manner and highlight the need for diverse leadership.
